MOVEments is a student-led podcast highlighting topics including direct service, civic engagement and social issue education.  Episodes feature conversations with community and organization leaders, both from Georgia Tech’s campus and the greater Atlanta area!

Interviews with local leaders of organizations and movements help to highlight important social issues and ways that people of all ages can become involved in making impactful change. Each episode highlights the "why" of the work of particular organizations or social issues, while also providing resources and strategies for listeners to get involved themselves.

The show is hosted by Georgia Tech’s Mobilizing Opportunities for Volunteer Experience (MOVE), a student organization providing, support, resources and opportunities within the service community at Georgia Tech. MOVE consists of service committees - Animal Welfare, Hunger and Homelessness, Medical Assistance, STEM and Education, Sustainability, and Special Projects.  MOVE also hosts several large service initiatives including Into the Streets and MLK Day of Service.
